I did an interview with Lloyd Jones to learn about his job and why he wanted it.
Tamika Fequet: What is your job and what are your responsibilities?
Lloyd Jones: I am the manager for Transport Quebec at the airport in St. Augustin and supervisor of La Tabatière, Tête-à-la-Baleine and La Romaine.
T.F: What do you like about your job and why is it important?
L.J: I like dealing with planes and weather.
T.F: Have you had jobs before this?
L.J: Yes, director of Air Labrador.
T.F: What was your favorite subject in school?
L.J: It was art.
T.F: What were some highlights or important events in your life as a kid?
L.J: Living in La Tabatière surrounded by wonderful friends.
T.F: What were some highlights or important events in your adult life?
L.J: Meeting my wife and the birth of my daughter.
T.F: Tell me about your family?
L.J: They are awesome and they are kind and loving people.
T.F: What is something special about you?
L.J: I think I’m funny.
T.F: What special interests do you have?
L.J: I like riding a boat and reading and drawing.
T.F: What schooling do you need for your job?
L.J: Management skills.
T.F: Do you have any advice for the kids reading our blog?
L.J: Yes. Read as much as possible and don’t forget to go outdoors.
